Stanford's defense returns to form against Georgia Tech
The Stanford Cardinal outrushed Georgia by nearly two hundred yards and Stanford quarterback Alex Rowe had a near perfect game as the Cardinal routed Georgia Tech 48-10 on Saturday to notch their first conference win of the season.
Stanford returned to their complimentary style of football, as described by head coach Bubba Mack, against Georgia Tech after losing to SMU in a shootout where Rowe threw three interceptions and Stanford's running game was bottled up.
Rowe was able to complete two early touchdown passes to give Stanford the 17-0 lead in the first quarter and the running game did the rest with Trumaine Lasike rushing for 132 yards and Anthony Masifilo adding seventy six yards on the ground with two total touchdowns.

That over barely covered, but that spread was easy money.
Don't think we missed that fraudulency against SMU.

Twas close on that bet but close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades so we in there!
Run game was still dominant albeit a little less so

Week 6 Preview: at Louisville Cardinals
Record: 3-0, 1-0 ACC
Head Coach: Jeff Brohm
Offensive Scheme: Multiple
Defensive Scheme: 4-3
Team Schedule
vs. USF (2-2): W 48-27
vs. Lamar (FCS): W 38-10
vs. #17 Miami (4-1): W 24-18
Team Leaders
Passing: Marvin Kendrick 57 cmp%, 806 yards, 8 TD, 2 INT, 142.5 passer rating
Rushing: Nyles Falah 451 yards, 7.2 ypc, 3 TD
Receiving: Dwayne Stubbs 14 receptions, 240 yards
Defense: J.C. Winter 18 tackles, 3 TFL, 2.5 sacks
Injuries
EDGE Javon Canady (Junior) Abdominal Tear (Out)
LB Siaki Ochi (Junior) Dislocated Hip (Out)
Players to Watch
QB Marvin Kendrick (R-Fr) | 6′0″, 184LBS | 74 OVR, 77 SPD, 84 ACC, 79 THP, 87 SAC, 78 MAC, 76 DAC
‣ Fresh off their best defensive performance of the season, Stanford's defense gets to face probably the worst quarterback they've played all season long in Kendrick, including Hawai'i and Kennesaw State. Offensive genius Jeff Brohm has done a good job of navigating the season with Kendrick but even in the win over Miami, he was exposed with four sacks, a 44 percent completion percentage and two interceptions. He's not overly athletic and lacks arm talent so if the Cardinal can make him play off script, it's a recipe for disaster for the Cardinals.
HB Nyles Falah (R-Sr) | 5′9″, 225LBS | 91 OVR, 92 SPD, 87 ACC, 86 COD, 94 CAR, 87 TRK
‣ While Kendrick is the worst quarterback they've faced, Falah is one of the better players, regardless of position, that the Stanford defense has come against. We saw them struggle against an elite running back in Bobby Eby and Falah is of that same mold and will challenge Stanford's secondary with his physical running style if (when) he gets to the second level and has enough top end speed to break off a long run.
WR Dwayne Stubbs (Jr) | 6′3″, 212LBS | 84 OVR, 94 SPD, 98 ACC, 80 COD, 78 CTH, 93 RLS
‣ Similar to SMU, Louisville is going to try to turn this into a track meet and a shootout and while Kendrick isn't efficient down the field, he can complete a screen pass to Stubbs who has the ability to make things happen. He was dynamic against USF, averaging 18 yards per reception and has five catches for 81 yards against Miami. He's likely due to an even heavier workload against the Cardinal who are susceptible to explosive plays.
