You're right but the question is if Ramon would feel that's his story to tell. Loyalty or not, he may feel that's something that needs to come from Mireya, not him. Also because it brings up the question of "How you know for sure?"

1) Caine does not know that Laney isn't fucking her husband and/or anyone besides him. 2) He technically did that before she said slow it down. 3) You said yourself that he conforms to the situation he's in.
