INSIDE LOOK AT BOISE STATE RECRUITING
Despite all of Boise State's success on the field Coach Matt Miller has always had 1 area of struggle in his career and that has been in-season recruiting, but it's not for a lack of trying or a lack of resources.A Offensive Juggernaut, BSU has finished in the Top-10 in scoring, Total Yards of Offense and Passing and Rushing since Miller took over play calling duties as both a OC and HC.
BSU ranked #6 (A+) as a Championship Contender and has won 3 National Titles in the past 5 years and is the only team in the nation to have made the playoffs since it's existence in 2024.
BSU has a strong tradition (Ranks #16/A-) having won 7 straight Pac-12 titles and appearing in 42 Bowl games over the yeras.
BSU despite a home playing in a stadium that holds just under 37,000 has a passionate fan base that has helped :"The Blue" become one of the toughest places to play in the country.. With a pair of 30+ home winning streaks including 1 in this dynasty and a current 16 game win streak, Boise State ranks #27 /B grade in the nation.
Over the years, Boise State has had plenty of star players continue their careers on Sunday and the past 8 years has been no different including several players leaving a year early like QB Can Hooks and Brian Crum who were both 1st Round picks.. BSU currently ranks #4/A+ in Pro Potential.
With the return of the Pac-12 and Boise State's dominance, the Pac-12 is once again a P5 Conference (A-) ranking head of the current SEC (#5 B+) after Georgia and Florida departed for the ACC. (#1).
With 3 National Titles in just 7 years on the job, Miller has quickly become one of the greatest HC in all of College Football and has received offers from power programs like Ohio State, USC, Penn State, Iowa, South Carolina, and more, but Miller "Bleeds Blue" and boasts one of the highest grades of Coach Stability and Prestige (Ranked #6 A+)
The only knocks to Boise is Campus Lifestyle (C/Ranked #77), Academics (D-/Ranked #120) and Athletic Facilities (B-/Ranked #44).
**Wish there was way's to improve these areas, because I feel like with 3 Natty's, BSU would obviously have the money to invest in better Facilities and the Campus and Boise is very underrated.

SS-Ted Mangum (4* Rated #58 Overall/#6 TX/#4 SS) BSU is #1 but has offers from Okie State, TAMU, LSU, TCU, BYU, Oklahoma and Alabama.
**With 5 of my 7 Offensive Seniors on the 0-Line landing depth and future starters are my #1 Goal. With only 5 Seniors on Defense and only 2 of them starting, my #1 goal is to just land talent.. Obviously it would be amazing to land all 4 of the 5* DE's with the ability to potentially move 1 to DT and 1 to OLB.
My plan this year is as soon as I drop past the Top-4 on any recruit to remove any recruiting points and focus more points on the guy's who have me #2 to figure out how to get them #1 and sign early.

71 Overall vs 97 Overall but I will say that's the most INT's I have every had in 1 game.. It could've been a even bigger blow out had I not missed 3 FG's. I thought about just running out the remainder of the game in the 4th, but I really wanted to see Exum throw the ball and wanted to get my 2nd string WR/TE some reps as well.

BRONOS WIN IN OVERTIME TRILLER!!!
GAME RECAP
UCLA dominated the 1st half picking off Freshman QB Ezra Neighbors 3 times but the Neighbors and the Broncos struggles didn't end there as Neighbors was also credited for a fumble and BSU was called for 3 holding penalties resulting in a turnover on downs as Boise State found themselves in unfamiliar territory trailing (30-7) at the break. after backup QB Nathan Exum failed to help get Boise State on the scoreboard on the Broncos final 2 drives of the 2nd half.
With Neighbors on the sidelines and Exum still in at QB, the Broncos offense finally would find their groove with the help of the Bronco Defense who flipped the script picking off UCLA JR Q Mohammed Odighizuwa (87 ovr) twice leading as Boise State closes the gap to (30-22) with 4:57 to play in the 3rd...
Odighizuwa would bounce back from his 2 INT's with a 4 yd touchdown pass to Marques Cisco as time expires in the 3rd though to extend UCLA's lead to (37-22) as we head into the 4th.
Boise State would find the endzone with 5:28 to play in the game as Exum finds Taj Carr on a 12 yd stike.. Coach Miller would leave the Bronco offense on the field and Exum would hit 6'5 E. Chance for the 2pt play to make it (37-30).
Still trailing with under 2 minutes to play it was the Bronco Defense coming up big yet again picking of Odighizuwa for a 3rd time setting giving BSU the ball back with 1:47 to play inside the redzone and with 1:23 to play Desean Swaim would tie the game with a 9 yd touchdown run.
For Swaim it was a rough day as the Bronco star RB had a 77 yd touchdown called back with a holding call as well as a 35 yd run as Swaim finishes with just 48 yds on 20 carries.
Tied (37-37) the game would go into Overtime and UCLA would win the toss electing to start on Defense..
BSU needed just 3 plays to find the endzone as Exum hits Chance for a 6 yd score to give BSU th e (44-37) lead for the first time in the game.
UCLA despite 195 yds on the ground and a QB who had just tossed 3 INT's in the 2nd half would go straight to the air on their opening play in Overtime but the Broncos Defense was ready as former 5* LB Tye Hoppes makes the biggest play of his young career picking off Odiihizuwa for INT #4 as Boise State pulls off the comeback keeping their undefeated season alive.
Odihizuwa finished the game-22/39 for 204 yds with 3 TD and the 4 INT.
JR RB Josh Rasheed (82 ovr) had 27 carries for 177 yds and 1 TD

IMPACT FROM THE GAME AND UP NEXT
Despite moving to 4-0 with a win over a Top-15 ranked opponent, BSU fails to move up in the rankings but instead is jumped by #8 Oklahoma who defeats #3 Nebraska (34-24). and #4 Clemson who moves to (2-1) with a 49-0 win over a FCS program.
BSU will return home for their 3rd game on the "The Blue" as they look to extend their 16 game home winning streak vs (2-1) Colorado.
The Buffalo's are coming off a (49-45) win over instate rival Colorado State in Week 3. Colorado's 1 loss was to UCLA in Week 2 (25-20)

Not a pretty win but there isn't a column for style points.

Yeah. It's been along time since I have had to have that type of comeback., to be honest I felt a little deflated but the Defense was huge in the 2nd half.
Barksdale is out 1 more game (vs Colorado) then I got a Bye so he will be back for Cal for a warmup game and will have to face Oregon.

BOISE STATE STAYS PERFECT!!!
GAME RECAP
Boise State moves to 5-0 and extends their home winning streak with a Week 4 win over Colorado . The Buff's tried to make a game of it scoring twice in the opening quarter on a pair of touchdown pass's from QB Jason Wick (84 ovr).. The Senior QB was coming off a 400 yd 4 TD performance in Colorado's win over Colorado State in Week 4, but Boise State's Nate "the Great" Exum matched him with a pair of touchdown pass's to Enrique Chance and with 1::06 to play BSU would take the lead as Angel Coker caps off a 12 play 80 yd drive with a 1 yd touchdown run and BSU would never look back.
Colorado opened up the 2nd half with a 24 yd FG to cut the lead to (21-17) but Boise State answers back as Exum and Chance go for the hat trick as the duo combines for a 51 yd touchdown to extend the lead to (28-17). BSU would extend it again with 1:58 to play in the half as Cedric Eagles connects on a 45 yd FG, but Colorado answers back with a FG of their own as time expires to make it (31-20) at the half.
Boise State would explode in the 3rd Quarter scoring 3 times as Exum and Chance make it TD #4 to open up the 2nd half scoring and Desean Swaim gets into the act with a 32 yd and 1 yd touchdown runs/
Leading (51-20) Coach Miller would insert his entire 2nd string unit's on both sides of the ball in the 4th Quarter.. BSU would add to their lead as Brian Myeres scores his 4th rushing touchdown of the season midway through the 4th and then with 4:03 to play Freshman QB Ezra Neighbors finds TE Steven Strong on a 22 yd strike.. For Strong it was his 3rd Touchdown of the season as he continues to carve out a bigger role in the offense.
Neighbors who struggled in his first career start against UCLA with 4 turnovers looked like a completely different QB as he completes 15/18 pass's for 179 yds and the touchdown with his only mistake being a INT late in the 4th that set up 1 final score for the Buffalo's.

tough losses on the defense, but Utah should be a cake walk from the looks of it
