Chargers (me) - 17
Chiefs (CPU) - 34

Team Stats
LAC: 332 total yards (222 passing, 110 rushing (4.1 YPA), 23 1st downs, 4/11 3rd down, 3 turnovers, 5 penalties, 33:41 TOP
KC: 511 total yards (419 passing, 92 rushing (7.1 YPA), 28 1st downs, 5/6 3rd down, 3 turnovers, 5 penalties, 26:19 TOP

Player Stats
Patrick Mahomes: 36/41, 419 yards, 4 TD, INT
Justin Herbert: 24/38, 22 yards, TD, 3 INT

JK Dobbins: 21 att, 66 yards, TD
Isaiah Pacheco: 8 att, 38 yards
Patrick Mahomes: 5 att, 54 yards

Marquise Brown: 9 rec, 129 yards, TD
Travis Kelce: 8 rec, 72 yards, TD
Rashee Rice: 7 rec, 92 yards, 2 TD

Notes:
- Mahomes, unstoppable. Chiefs just had too much speed on the field and it was terrifying
- Both teams had 3 turnovers - I like how there are turnovers being forced each game
- Chiefs led 27-3 at one point before I started to pick it up on offense

Overall:
This truly felt like a game where there was a separation in talent. KC's offense was scary. I felt there was a difference in playing against the Chiefs in this one, one of the highest rated teams. You cannot play man defense against this group of receivers. I'm going to continue with these sliders for another game or 2.
mahomes spanked ya, mostly vertical or middle of the field?
Middle of the field. I shaded coverage over the top to not get beat by the speed by my God the checkdowns usually went for 6-7 yards each time. And when I got them to 3rd down he was able to scramble for the 1st :fml:

I feel like in the past few maddens, QBs have been OP. Even when I've built a great defense, seems like you're at the mercy of the game for guys to actually cover their zone which forces you to play man and against top offenses, that's a recipe for disaster

Mode: Franchise

Bucs (CPU) - 34
Chargers (me) - 37

Team Stats
TB: 251 total yards (158 passing, 93 rushing (4 YPA), 15 1st downs, 2/9 3rd down, 2 turnovers, 22:55 TOP)
LAC: 421 total yards (208 passing, 213 rushing (5.3 YPA), 26 1st downs, 7/15 3rd down, 3 turnovers, 37:05 TOP)

Player Stats
Baker Mayfield: 17/22, 175 yards, 2 TD, INT
Justin Herbert: 21/33, 226 yards, 2 TD, INT

JK Dobbins: 28 att, 183 yards, TD
Rachaad White: 17 att, 54 yards

Ladd McConkey: 4 rec, 76 yards
Mike Evans: 4 rec, 33 yards, TD
Sterling Shepard: 4 rec, 48 yards, TD

Notes:
- Was up 34-26 before a boneheaded move with a read option allowed Herbert to fumble and the Bucs to tie the game.
- Dobbins was averaging about 5.5 YPC before a 41-yard run gave the Chargers a 34-20 lead
- The Bucs actually stayed committed to the run, giving White 17 carries
- Bucs had a kickoff return for a TD to start - tying the game at 7
- Asante Samuel Jr. had a nice INT off of a cover 2 safety blitz

Overall:
Score is closer than what story of the game - I felt in control for the most part, giving Mayfield the dink and dunks but stopping the Bucs on 3rd down. Big change from playing the Chiefs as I was more confident in sending the blitz. As a result I leaned on the run and gave Dobbins a big workload that paid off. Game begged for me to take risks and I didn't buy into it until the end of the game which resulted in that Herbert fumble. Good to know that the CPU will do what they can to get the ball back when trailing, so it's important to making coaching adjustments (chew clock, ball carrier conservative, etc.)

Soap's NCAA Sliders v2
Heisman
Quarter Length 10-15 mins (user preference)
Acc Clock 12-15 seconds (keep audibling to a minimum)
Passing Type Classic (If you want to play with revamped, please bring HUM QB Acc down to 5)
Injuries 52
Fatigue 72

Penalties

False Start 85 (mix up your cadences)
Offensive Holding 60 (I'm still tuning this as raising it does get annoying but also helps keep the explosive plays in check)
Facemask 80
Block in Back 60
Roughing the passer 50
DPI 99 (never gets called unless there is a physics glitch)
All other penalties are ON except for roughing the kicker. Even with the patch, still happens too often even on punt safe/return

HUM/CPU
QB Accuracy 5/5
Pass Blocking 49/50
WR Catching 35/35
Run Blocking 0/100
Ball Security 32/32

LB 75/82 or 85/90 for deeper rotation
CB 75/82 or 80/85 for deeper rotation
S 75/82 or 80/85 for deeper rotation

Gameplay House Rules (optional)
- No switching players on offense with exception being on offense during designed jump ball situations (ie goal-line fade)
- No switching players on defense during running plays. One switch allowed per play on passing plays
- No unusual moving of defensive players pre-snap unless disguising coverage
- No hot routes allowed on offense or defense. Offense allowed to change stem/depth of routes as well as change protection. Defense allowed to shift to adjust to offense formation or game situation.
- Audibling is limited to quick audibles (ie: run play, quick pass, man coverage) only under the following circumstances:
  • Defense is overloaded to one side.
  • Defense is playing press coverage on a WR screen/bubble play.
  • Defense is showing blitz on a run headed towards the player(s) showing blitz.
  • Defense is playing single high safety on a called run play.
  • Offense is lining up in an empty set on a play where a blitz is called.
  • Offense is lining up in the wildcat formation.
  • Offense has overloaded one side of the football.
  • Editor's note: You can adjust these as you see fit. My goal with the audible house rules is to limit your ability to always be able to get your offense/defense in the right play post-snap, which isn't the case in real football nor for the CPU AI. Sometimes, you're forced to run a play that you know is likely not going to work, which happens in football.
- On offense, only allowed to utilize the pre-snap coach snap (reveals play being run) once per play at home and cannot use it on the road. (Optional: you can add a caveat that QBs with higher AWR get to use it more than once and on the road if you want to in order to make the attribute have value at the position when recruiting/developing)
- Must mix up the snap cadence on offense in order to simulate real-game scenarios and be susceptible to false start penalties.

Dynasty Roster Management House Rules (optional)
- If draft-eligible players rated 85 or higher suffers an injury that sidelines them for more than half of the remaining games, player will sit out rest of season.
- Cannot go over roster limit of 85 players. If this occurs, random generator will be ran to determine who is cut from team.
- Schools with A- or higher academic prestige can only sign 1 JUCO player per class.
- Schools with B-, B or B+ academic prestige, can only sign 2 JUCO players players per class.
- Can only scout players in the offseason if they are in your Tier 5 pipeline.
- Can scout players in your tier 4 or higher pipeline during the regular season.
- Can only scout players in your tier 3 or lower pipeline during their recruiting visit week.
- Cannot target none-pipeline recruits unless in recruit's top five.
- Recruiting Board limit set to Seniors on roster + half of Juniors on roster (ie: 15 seniors + 10 juniors = 20 players in recruiting board).
- Once a player has been added to Recruiting Board, cannot be removed unless committed to another school, locked out or reached roster limit.
- Cannot add to your recruiting board players 4-star or higher with no other offers past Week 9.
- Cannot recruit 5-star QBs in back-to-back classes.
- Cannot sign more than one 4-star or higher QB in a given class.
- Cannot sign more than two 4-star or higher TE in a given class.
- Cannot sign more than two 4-star or higher RB in a given class.
- Cannot sign more than three 4-star or higher WRs in a given class.
- Cannot recruit ATH as QBs.

What are user broken tackles like with tackling set to 100 for the CPU? How successful is the truck stick?

my top running back only had 17 broken tackles on 184 carries but I don't mind it since even with run blocking at 0, I've had games with two 100-yd rushers, especially once you start recruiting top end guys with 95+ speed. I don't get a lot of broken tackles with the truck stick but they do pick up extra yard.

Mode: Franchise

Broncos (CPU) - 10
Chargers (me) - 31

Team Stats
LAC: 490 total yards (259 passing, 231 rushing (4.9 YPA), 28 1st downs, 11/15 3rd down, 0 turnovers, 5 penalties, 38:20 TOP)
DEN: 253 total yards (207 passing, 46 rushing (5.1 YPA), 15 1st downs, 3/7 3rd down, 1 turnover, 0 penalties, 21:40 TOP)

Player Stats
Justin Herbert: 18/20, 259 yards, 2 TD
Bo Nix: 22/27, 251 yards, TD

JK Dobbins: 20 att, 104 yards
Gus Edwards: 19 att, 75 yards

Courtland Sutton: 7 rec, 86 yards, TD
Ladd McConkey: 3 rec, 44 yards, TD

Notes:
- Nix had a nice day throwing but did get sacked 6 times - this is the most sacks I've gotten on these sliders.
- Herbert great day passing, missing just twice. Wondering if I should lower the accuracy a little more.
- Chargers defense was able to get pressure pretty consistently against the Broncos o-line
- Running game was flawless - switched to conservative ball carrying in the 2nd half after leading 24-0 at halftime
- 0 user turnovers!

Overall:
So it is possible to play some defense on these sliders (if we were to just look at the scoreboard). Even though Bo Nix missed 5 passes I don't really see a reason to deviate from the CPU sliders since these were short passes that I'm sacrificing to prevent the deep completions. I also was pretty unstoppable on offense with JK Scott punting it just once. Similar to CFB 25 the CPU does like to turn things up in the 4th quarter which was when the Broncos scored their lone TD. I look at the way this game played out and couldn't be happier with the results. What I may consider now is slightly adjusting user QB accuracy (maybe just down 1 point) but given a sample of other games it seems justifiable to have a game like this once in a while.

Mode: Franchise

Panthers (me) - 26
Falcons (CPU) - 13

Team Stats
CAR: 329 total yards (178 passing, 151 rushing), 7/13 3rd down, 24 1st downs, 2 turnovers, 2 penalties, 32:40 TOP
ATL: 238 total yards (204 passing, 34 rushing), 3/12 3rd down, 15 1st downs, 2 turnovers, 5 penalties, 27:20 TOP

Player Stats
Kirk Cousins: 28/37, 249 yards, TD, 2 INT
Bryce Young: 17/29, 202 yards, 2 INT

Jonathan Brooks: 21 att, 96 yards, 2 TD
Bijan Robinson: 11 att, 29 yards

Kyle Pitts: 8 rec, 62 yards
Rondale Moore: 7 rec, 73 yards
Adam Thielen: 4 rec, 66 yards

Notes:
- Starting to think that run/pass ratio is quite playbook dependent. I don't know what the ATL playbook is like but multiple times I've played them now and they decided to not utilize Bijan
- Passing was tough with the Panthers - the bad o-line and mediocre receivers really showed that. However running the ball still seems too easy at times. Note that my run blocking slider is already at 0 so I can't so any lower. Does CPU tackling affect this?
- I'm not entirely sure how I held Atlanta to 13 points.

Overall:
Defense in my past two games feel solid, but I want offense to feel more difficult. Just not sure how to do that at this point. Passing I believe feels balanced but the running game I feel like I can have success behind and line and with any running back.
