I think questions need to start being asked about this manager. The recruitment this summer was god awful.
I think he goes 'two players only for each position' and fill the rest up with homegrown, correct me if I see it wrong.
I try to avoid having players that aren't going to get solid playing time and I also tried to keep a balance with who Spurs would be able to get, realistically. Obviously, I had to nix the Bastoni idea but that was going to be my big signing. Without him, there wasn't a ton of room on the squad where adding someone would be both an improvement and realistic. Striker is the only position where I think we failed at because again, trying to find the balance between someone that would be an improvement over Tel while also being realistic to either sign with us or be okay with being Tel's backup

I'm not sure I agree. Their current squad IRL are full of players, who could easily play for bigger clubs. Romero and van de Ven were argued to be the best CB partnership by Jamie O'Hara last summer. Richarlison was a starting CF for Brazil. Incredible talents like Odobert, Udogie, Vuskovic, Tel and Kudus (off the top of my head). Truly this is a GREAT fifa team with room to grow. And Rodrygo has been added to the mix...
In that light, I do think it makes sense to add a bit more depth to the squad, perhaps making it a bit more robust or sturdy. Spurs already have the young hopes for the future, so I kind of like the transfer business, based on age/OVR, since I'm not familiar with them all...
