McQueen Rebounds with Dominant Win at Dover, Earns Fourth Victory of the Season

After a tough outing at Lime Rock Logan “Lightning” McQueen III and the No. 33 Peak Motorsports team stormed back in style at Dover Motor Speedway, scoring their fourth win of the season in commanding fashion.

McQueen started 16th after a modest qualifying session and charged through the field methodically. Once inside the top five, he began to pull away from the pack on long runs. His Chevrolet came alive in the second half of the race, and McQueen held off William Sawalich and Isabella Robusto in the closing laps to claim the checkered flag.

The victory marks a powerful statement for the Peak Motorsports rookie, who has now earned four wins this season, taking the checkered flags at Rockingham, Talladega, Kansas and now Dover. The big bounce back after the struggles at Limerock underscore McQueen's adaptability and poise behind the wheel.

“This one means a lot,” McQueen said post-race. “After the frustration at Lime Rock, we came into Dover knowing we had something to prove. The car was incredible today, especially on long runs. My team gave me everything I needed, we just executed perfectly.”

Sawalich finished second for Joe Gibbs Racing, with Robusto, Finch, and Reif rounding out the top five. The result tightened the championship battle, with McQueen climbing back into the top five in overall points, just two points behind Lawless Alan in third and eight clear of Andy Jankowiak in fifth.

McQueen Sweeps the Weekend at IRP — Scores Pole and Fifth Career Win

Logan “Lightning” McQueen III delivered a statement performance at Indianapolis Raceway Park, earning both the pole and race victory in the LiUNA! 150.

The win, his fifth of the season, showcased complete dominance from the No. 33 Peak Motorsports Chevrolet, which led 31 laps and controlled the tempo from start to finish.

McQueen topped qualifying with a blistering 24.048 lap, edging out William Sawalich and Brenden Queen for the pole.

Despite a few late challenges from Sawalich, McQueen’s long-run pace proved untouchable.

The victory marked McQueen’s second consecutive win following his Dover triumph and continues his impressive midseason surge.

With five victories now under his belt (Rockingham, Talladega, Kansas, Dover, and Indianapolis) McQueen climbs to third in the series standings, within striking distance of championship leader William Sawalich.

“This Peak Motorsports team gave me an unbelievable car,” McQueen said post-race. “We’ve been working so hard to keep improving, and to grab back-to-back wins like this feels amazing. I had to be patient early, but once the tires came in, it was just about hitting marks and staying smooth. Huge thanks to my crew and everyone who believes in us.”

William Sawalich, Brenden Queen, and Patrick Staropoli completed the top four, while Tyler Reif and Lavar Scott rounded out the top six. The race was clean and fast-paced, with McQueen’s dominance the clear storyline of the weekend.

Getting into a groove now.

It's strange there are no DNFs, are cautions off or damages off?

McQueen Charges from 13th to Collect Sixth Win of the Season at Iowa

Logan “Lightning” McQueen III delivered perhaps his most impressive drive yet, coming from 13th to win the Atlas 150 at Iowa Speedway, marking his sixth victory of the season, in dominant fashion.

After qualifying 13th, McQueen steadily picked off competitors, timing his moves and conserving tire life. He took command late in the race, pulling away from William Sawalich and Brenden Queen to cross the finish line with a solid margin.

The win marks McQueen’s third straight checkered flag and caps an unforgettable stretch in which he's won six of the last ten races. His consistency, poise, and speed underscore just how formidable he’s become as a championship contender.

“This is what we’ve been building toward,” McQueen said afterward. “We had to fight through the field, but the car was strong and my team gave me everything I needed. Six wins is unbelievable, but I’m still hungry. We’ve got a lot of season left.”

Sawalich and Queen rounded out the podium, while Lavar Scott and Tyler Reif rounded out the top five in a clean, strategic race.

Alan Wins at The Glen as McQueen Salvages Top-15 Finish After Tough Qualifying

Lawless Alan scored his third win of the season in the General Tire 100 at Watkins Glen International, mastering the 2.45-mile road course and fending off Brenden Queen and Trevor Huddleston in a clean but challenging event.

For Logan “Lightning” McQueen III, the day was about survival and execution. After qualifying 25th, the Peak Motorsports driver steadily worked through the field, staying out of trouble and relying on quick pit stops to climb into the top 15 by the checkered flag. He crossed the line in 15th place, maintaining third in the championship standings.

“This one tested us,” McQueen said. “I’ve got to thank my crew, they nailed the pit stops and helped us pick up some spots. We’re still learning on these road courses, but I’ll take this as progress. We’ll put our heads down, fight through these last five races, and do everything we can to catch Brenden [Queen] and William [Sawalich].”

Alan, Queen, and Huddleston filled the podium, while Lavar Scott and Kyle Keller rounded out the top five. Isabella Robusto, Corey Day, Sawalich, Tyler Reif, and Ed Pompa completed the top ten.
